These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FilePoint (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Description of the service
FilePoint provides free, browser-based tools for processing PDF, image, document, GIF, ZIP and other file formats. All processing is performed on our own infrastructure. You upload a file, the requested operation is applied to it, and you download the result. Account creation is optional; guest use is fully supported.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload or process files you do not have the legal right to use, copy, or modify;
- Upload content that is illegal, infringing, malicious (including malware), or that violates the rights of others;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our systems (including circumventing rate limits or file-size restrictions);
- Use automated means to scrape or bulk-abuse the Service in a way that degrades it for other users; or
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
We reserve the right to apply rate limits, file-size limits, and other technical restrictions to protect the Service, and to suspend or block access for accounts or IP addresses that violate these Terms.
3. Your content
You retain full ownership of any files you upload and of the output files our tools generate. We claim no ownership rights over your content. As described in our Privacy Policy, uploaded and processed files are automatically deleted no later than 2 hours after upload — you are responsible for downloading and saving your results before then.
4. No warranty
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that any conversion or edit will be 100% accurate, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. See also our Disclaimer.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FilePoint and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including loss of a file due to the automatic deletion window described above.
6. Third-party advertising
The Service may display advertisements from third-party networks, including Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or the websites they link to.
7. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may add, modify, or remove tools and features at any time, and may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Service or other users.
9. Governing law
